One of the priced stadiums in Delhi, Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium has been hosting ground for various athletic tournaments held in the city. The stadium is named after first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru.

Ferozshah Kotla Stadium
It is the hosting ground major cricketing tournaments in Delhi, Feroz Shah Kotla was built in 1883 at the request of local people, and first staged a Test match in 1948. In 1999, Anil Kumble took all ten wickets against Pakistan here, only the second man in Test history to do so.

Ambedkar Stadium is a multi use stadium in Delhi. Most of the football matches are held here. It has a seating capacity for 20, 00 people and is one of the prestigious stadiums developed of Delhi Government.

National Stadium
Generally used as parking ground for India International Trade Fair, the stadium is a hosting ground of various rallies, marathons and march past held in Delhi. The stadium is being developed and reformed by Delhi Government for up coming Common Wealth Games.

Famous hockey ground of Delhi, Shivaji Stadium is located at the heart of the city. It is now used a bus terminal in Connaught Place.

Yet another sporting ground in Delhi, IGI Stadium hosts most of the indoor sports in India. There is a sound proof hall, changing rooms, media rooms, VIP areas and medical rooms situated here for the convenience of the players. It is being worked out for Common Wealth Games in 2010.

Talkatora Indoor Stadium
Loacted on Wilingdon Road, the stadium is located in Central Delhi. It boasts of hosting some of the musical concerts, quiz contests, cultural programs and political seminars. Government is trying to modify the stadium to international standards for up coming Common Wealth Games.
